AI built for the trades

AI that actually knows
construction

CrewLog puts AI to work where it counts on a job site — turning your voice into professional reports and change orders, drafting RFIs and forecasting overruns straight from your daily logs, scoring the health of every job, and answering the code, safety, and pricing questions you used to chase down.

What the AI does

Seven ways it works the job with you

Voice to report

Talk through your day for two minutes on the drive home. The AI turns rough notes into a clean, structured daily report — work completed, delays, conditions, and next steps.

Reports that protect you

Every report is written in real construction language and automatically flags delays, deliveries, and possible change orders — with weather logged in. A documented record built to hold up.

Crew & Pro

AI change orders

Talk through a change, add your cost breakdown and margin, and the AI writes a clean, professional change order under your logo — with your signature already on it. Send it for approval and track it from sent to signed, with overdue flagged automatically.

Pro

AI Project Pulse

CrewLog reads your daily logs, the flags it pulls from them, and your change orders, then gives every job a live health score — surfacing schedule, cost, and safety risks before they blow up. One click turns it into a polished owner update you can send in seconds instead of writing one for 30 minutes.

Crew & Pro

AI RFIs

When a daily log flags a conflict — a spec gap, or a field condition that doesn't match the drawings — CrewLog drafts the RFI for you: numbered, with the question written up, ball-in-court set, and ready to review and send. Track each one from open to answered.

Pro

AI Schedule Forecast

CrewLog reads the pace and delays in your daily logs and forecasts where the job actually finishes — not where the plan says. See the slip in days, an On track / Watch / At risk call, and the specific reasons behind it, early enough to act.

The Construction Assistant

A trades expert in your pocket. Set your state or province and ask anything — code and permit requirements for your jurisdiction, safety questions, methods, and current material prices and estimates. Ask by voice or text, or snap a photo of a detail or site condition and ask about it right in the chat.

Ask anything

Like having a 25-year super on call

Set your state or province and ask anything — by voice or text — code, safety, methods, or pricing. Snap a photo of a detail and ask about it. Every answer is tailored to where you build.

Minimum guard height for a deck that's 8 ft off the ground?

For a residential deck where the walking surface sits more than 1.8 m (≈ 6 ft) above grade — which yours does — the guard has to be at least 1,070 mm (42") high.

Two things the inspector will check:

•Openings can't let a 100 mm (4") sphere pass through — keep baluster gaps under 4".
•Nothing climbable between 140 mm and 900 mm (no horizontal "ladder" rails).

That's per the Ontario Building Code (9.8.8). Confirm with your local building department before you build.
