No — the AI reports are one piece of it. CrewLog is the system for running your jobs: organize every job with its client, address, and contacts; document the day with voice notes, typed notes, and timestamped photos; run and log toolbox talks; write AI change orders and RFIs; track crew timesheets and live job costing (budget vs. actual and your margin); manage tasks, plans, drawings, and documents; see everything on a calendar; and keep a complete, searchable record of every job from start to finish. The reports are just one of the things it does.

What is the AI Construction Assistant?

It's a trades expert built into CrewLog, included on every plan. Set your country and state/province, then ask it anything — by typing or by voice — code and permit requirements for your jurisdiction, safety questions, installation methods, and ballpark material prices. It answers like a senior code consultant, separates guidance by trade, and always points you back to your local authority (AHJ) and the current adopted code to confirm.

Does it handle safety and toolbox talks?

Yes. Start the day with a toolbox talk from a library of 30+ standard topics, note the hazards on site, and sign off your crew. Every talk is documented and on file — exactly what you want on record if WCB, your insurer, or a GC ever asks. They show up on your calendar alongside your reports.

Can my whole crew use it?

Yes. Invite your team and control what each person can do — admins manage everything, members log reports and tasks, and viewers can follow along read-only. You can assign tasks to specific people, and each person only sees the work that's theirs. Everyone's looking at the same up-to-date job record.

What languages does CrewLog support?

English, French, and Spanish. Each person on the crew picks their own language in Settings — so you can run the account in English while your crew logs their hours in French or Spanish. More languages are coming.

Are my photos and job history kept organized?

Yes. Every photo is timestamped and filed under the right job, so months later you can pull up exactly what the site looked like on any given day. Reports, photos, toolbox talks, tasks, and contacts all live under each job — nothing scattered across texts and camera rolls.

Yes. Save the contacts for each job — client, GC, architect, inspector — and send a clean, professional report to whoever needs it in one tap. You choose who gets what. Being the crew that actually keeps people in the loop is what gets you called back.

They're structured, professional, and use proper construction terminology — organized into clear sections like work completed, delays, issues, site conditions, and what's next. They're written as a factual record that holds up for billing, disputes, and the job file, not a fluffy summary. You review and edit everything before it goes out.

Where is my data stored? Is it secure?

All of your data — reports, voice recordings, photos, contacts — is stored on secure, encrypted cloud servers. Every account is completely isolated: no one can access your data except you and the people you invite or send reports to. Even if another contractor uses CrewLog, they will never see any of your jobs. We never sell or share your information, and you can export or delete everything at any time.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

If you cancel, nothing is deleted — your account and full job history stay saved exactly where you left them, so if you come back and resubscribe, everything's still there. While your plan is active you can export your reports, photos, and job history from Settings any time. Your data is only ever erased if you choose to delete your account, which wipes everything immediately. We don't hold your data hostage.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use this?

Not at all. If you can send a text message, you can use CrewLog. Pick your job, talk or type about what happened, add some photos, and hit generate — it handles the formatting and organization. We built this for people on job sites, not behind desks.

Yes. Every trial is 7 days of the full Pro plan — jobs, reports, photos, safety talks, tasks, change orders, timesheets, job costing, Project Pulse, branded reports, exports, and team, the whole thing. To start, we ask for a card and run a $0 charge to confirm it's real — that keeps bots and spam out. You're charged nothing during the 7 days and can cancel anytime before it ends.
